How do I sign up?

Do I need my own yoga mat?
No! My studio is covered in the BJJ tatami (mats) which are fantastic for yoga and give you a bit more freedom and room than on a normal yoga mat.

What do I need to bring?
Some water, comfy clothes, and a towel for knee cushioning or to wipe away sweat.

What should I expect in my first class?
I always start the class by bringing your awareness to your breath. Then we begin to slowly warm up the body and do a few sun salutations. After that we head onto the main body of the class which revolves around a peak pose. Then we slow down and enter into a relaxing cool-down.

How often should I practice yoga?
As often as you want! But, for beginners, I suggest 2-3 times a week. However, just 1 class is enough to feel the mental and stress relieving benefits.

Do I need to be fit to do yoga?
No! Just show up and begin your yoga journey. We all start some somewhere. I suggest trying out one of my 30 minute yoga for beginner Hatha classes!

Are meditations and mantras part of the class structure?
No, in my classes we focus on the breathing and physical aspects of yoga, but those are the natural progressions of a yoga practice.
